In this market, Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) acts as main contractor for the engineering and fabrication of heavy steel constructions like modules for refineries, (petro)chemical plants, gas receiving terminals and power stations.

HFG's fabrication facilities mainly build pre-assembled units (PAU) and pre-assembled pipe racks (PAR). These PAUs and PARs are built and tested at HFG's fabrication location before transportation to a site and erection locally to form a complete plant.
