Changes to the Board of Directors of HFG
Heerema International Group Services (HIGS) and the non-executive Directors of Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) hereby announce the following changes to the Board of Directors, effective 1 April 2010.
CEO – vacant
Jan-Pieter Klaver will step down as CEO of Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) as per 1 April 2010 to further continue his career at Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) in the position of CEO.
COO – Wim Matthijssen
Wim Matthijssen has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of HFG. Wim Matthijssen has worked already for many years within HFG in various senior management positions, of which most recently Managing Director of our Dutch yards. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Project Management, Operations and General Management.
CFO – Arend Drenthe
Arend Drenthe continues his present position of CFO within HFG.
We congratulate Wim with this appointment and wish him success with this new challenge in his career. We also take this opportunity to thank Jan-Pieter for his enormous efforts and dedication to Heerema Fabrication Group.

Rosetti Marino S.p.A. and Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) entered into a letter of intent on the 16th of November with the aim to sell to Rosetti Marino the HFG activities at the yard in Zwijndrecht, The Netherlands. Rosetti Marino and HFG have worked closely together and in good mutual cooperation to investigate the viability of this proposed sale.

Following a strategic review Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) intends to divest a significant part of its activities in the field of design and fabrication of complex steel constructions for the offshore market. HFG has been struggling for some time with insufficient project volume and marginal profitability. In addition, the risks associated with building topsides are high and clients are not prepared to pay for this risk.

With the sail away on the 2nd November 2018 the jacket of the Offshore Switch Yard (OSY) platform for the Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project is ready for installation. The jacket was built by Heerema Vlissingen, one of the production locations of Heerema Fabrication Group, for Belgium's transmission system operator Elia.
