In 2008 HFG received the contract for the fabrication of the Buzzard Production Sweetening (PS) topside, bridge and jacket of Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd. 

The project comprises of two separate contracts. One fabrication contract of the PS topside and bridge for Heerema Hartlepool and one EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract of the jacket for Heerema Vlissingen. The contract scope of the jacket also included engineering, which was subcontracted to SNC Lavalin.

The Production Sweetening topside consist of a single-lift structure with three deck levels and a crane. The supporting jacket structure has been fabricated by Heerema Vlissingen. The scope of the fabrication contract also included inspection, testing, mechanical completion, weighing, receipt and installation of rigging for offshore lifting, load-out and seafastening.
The jacket, fabricated at HFG's Vlissingen facility, is a piled four leg, lift installed steel jacket.
